with a concentration in Child and Adolescent Mental Health. As a certified Preschool Teacher,
Zoe also brings a strong background in child development and childcare to her work.

Get to Know Rita Vatcher, LMHC, MCCS, CAGS, RPT-S
Rita Vatcher is passionate about working with children, and her dream is to help children succeed and achieve their goals. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in both MA and NY, a Registered Play Therapist™, a Foundational Theraplay® Practitioner, and an EMDR-certified therapist who practices in Wellesley, Massachusetts. She provides effective mental health services for kids, adolescents, and adults by focusing on evidenced-based practices.
A Dedicated Therapist for Children
As a mental health counselor for children, having a BA in Psychology, an MA in pastoral ministry, and an MA in mental health counseling, all from Boston College, she employs a child therapy approach that works closely with parents to introduce and educate them on creative play therapy for children. She spends considerable time getting a family history and creating an assessment.

In successful play therapy, the child and parent are equally important. Parent’s involvement in their child’s treatment is welcomed and encouraged. That’s why regular meetings are held to discuss the child’s progress and any factors that could impact the sessions. You can rely on her to provide the following:

Advocates Community Counseling is a trauma-informed agency whose mission is to help people achieve their hopes and dreams within the fabric of their communities with mental health counseling for children.

Colleen Cesario is a dedicated student at Framingham State University, pursuing a degree in Child and Family Studies. She has experience working with children in diverse settings, including public schools, summer camps, grief camps, and hospitals. Colleen is passionate about supporting children and their families during challenging times, with plans to become a Certified Child Life Specialist after graduation. She is excited to expand her knowledge of play and explore the ways children communicate and cope through play. Colleen is truly grateful for the opportunity to work with you and your children!

As a Clinician at Kids at Heart-Metrowest, your role will be to provide individual and family psychotherapy services for children and their caregivers. Come join our growing practice! Kids at Heart-Metrowest is hiring Pre-Licensed and Licensed clinicians (LCSW, LICSW, LMHC) to provide therapy to children and families in our Wellesley office. As a valued and nurtured member of our team, you‘ll be given the tools to build the career of your dreams from day one.
Benefits of this position include reimbursement towards Play Therapy trainings of your choice, individual and group supervision with like minded professionals, support in working towards Play Therapy certification, biweekly supervision with an RPT-S, playrooms that are well equipped with all the tools you’ll need for your sessions and the chance to work alongside a dedicated group of change makers.
Currently we have Fee for Service positions available. This is a W-2 position with room to grow within the practice.
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Pay: Pre-license $40/hour depending on experience
Licensed $45/hour for 3-5 years experience
Licensed $50-$55/hour for 5+ years experience
Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
